Timur transitioned from Nemiga to GamerLegion in May of this year following outstanding performances in challenging anchor roles. After the first few solid tournaments, his form dipped, likely due to the adjustment to a new environment and the move to an international roster undergoing a rebuild. Before this, he spent his entire career playing on Russian teams.

He’s a really versatile and aggressive player who thrives on the T-side, always taking the initiative. His work ethic is impressive, and it’s clear he has the potential to shine in a team setting. During the RMR, he was outstanding, posting a 1.23 rating and a 1.41 impact – numbers that speak for themselves.

He registered a total of 47 first kills over 14 maps in the RMR, averaging 3.35 first kills per map, which is solid. For comparison, donk has an average of 4.2 first kills per map.

His CT-side positions have also seen a lot of changes since joining GamerLegion, with Inferno being the only map where he still holds the A anchor role, just as he did with Nemiga. On Nuke, he has shifted from A anchor to playing Yard, while on Ancient, he plays mid instead of A anchor. On Anubis, he plays B cave, whereas he played B anchor on Nemiga. Similarly, on Vertigo, his position has changed; he now plays B anchor since aNdu was benched, instead of playing towards A. On Mirage, he has moved from the A anchor role he played with Nemiga to playing connector. His best CT positions in the last three months are Yard on Nuke (1.24 rating) and Mid on Ancient (1.23 rating).

Timur’s T-side positions have also been adjusted. On Mirage, he now plays as a Roamer, whereas he previously played A lurk. On Inferno, he currently plays A apps, although he played Banana when aNdu was on the roster; in Nemiga, he played Boiler. On Anubis, he previously played B lurk but now plays Canals. The positions that remain consistent from his Nemiga days are A primary on Vertigo, Mid on Ancient, and Lobby on Nuke. His strongest T-side position is Mid on Ancient, where he holds a solid 1.09 rating. What stands out, however, is the significant drop in his performance on Vertigo. It was his best map during his time with Nemiga, where he posted an impressive 1.37 rating over 84 rounds. Now, with GamerLegion, Vertigo has become his second-worst map, with a rating of just 0.83 across 100 rounds.

What sets Timur apart is his multi-frag potential and solid in-game mechanics, particularly the classic CIS movement and aim, including his pre-aim. He has a really high 60.2% headshot rate. He also does an excellent job of balancing aggression and passivity; he’s not predictable, and every aggressive play he makes is well thought out with a clear purpose. He doesn’t rush in blindly. Additionally, he has a great sense of timing, knowing exactly when to let go of shift (walking) and take advantage of space left open by the enemy team. He’s rarely caught off guard due to his strong map awareness, and while his aim is impressive, I’ve often seen him wait for his teammate to set up that crucial trade potential, which is fundamental in team CS. A lot of players make the mistake of cocky overextending with their aim and end up throwing rounds away for no reason.

Another noteworthy quality I’ve noticed from watching his demos is his selflessness. In several situations, he jumps in front of his teammates and creates space, trusting his teammates to trade him and secure the round. This trait is not common among players who are individually powerful.

I’ve also seen a few innovative plays from him that haven’t made it to the usual NartOutHere YouTube channel yet.

An interesting detail about Timur is that he’s far from an eco fragger—in fact, he’s posted an impressive 86.5 ADR in full-buy rounds over the past three months.

FL4MUS

In his HLTV interview, he demonstrated a fierce competitive drive and a strong will to win. Despite being down 0-2 and just one best-of-three away from elimination, they pulled off the impossible and secured their spot at the Major, with Timur leading the way as their highest-rated player. While not the team’s in-game leader, his natural leadership qualities are evident in how he approaches the game.

tomaszin

Since joining BESTIA in mid-2023, he’s maintained a solid 1.14 rating, but this standout performance at LAN against stronger opponents has helped him gain much more attention and recognition. Although they failed to qualify for the Major, tomaszin showcased exceptional skill during the RMR, achieving a 1.37 rating over 9 maps, which places him as the second-highest-rated player from the Americas RMR.

When it comes to his positioning on maps, BESTIA doesn’t follow a traditional approach to role assignments, often splitting key roles among several players.

On the CT side, tomaszin excels in impactful positions like Mid on Ancient and Anubis, and as an A rotator on Inferno. On the other hand, he anchors on Nuke, Mirage (B), and Dust2. His best CT map is Ancient, where he holds a stellar 1.45 rating as the mid player.

On the T-side, he primarily plays lurking roles. His standout positions include B lurk on Mirage (1.36 rating) and Apps on Inferno (1.41 rating). One area where he really shines on the T side is his opening K/D, which is comparable to one of the best players in the world, donk. Looking at the past three months, donk has an opening K/D of 1.02 with 30% opening attempts, while tomaszin has an impressive 1.49 opening K/D with 21% opening attempts.

tomaszin

Personally, I would give Tomas more responsibility and assign him stronger positions since his individual skill can back them up with consistent numbers. I’m not entirely sure which are natural to him—anchor or star roles—but he should fully commit to one to focus on consistent growth and further development.

He’s methodical in his approach and excels in aim duels, showcasing impressive raw skill that gives him exceptional entry potential and the ability to multi-frag. Although he has solid utility knowledge and a good hit rate, he sometimes burns his utility too quickly on the CT side, which has been one of his noticeable weaknesses.

During the Americas RMR, he posted an impressive 103.8 ADR in full-buy rounds, which is truly remarkable.

He has been praised for his versatility and high potential as one of Argentina’s standout prospects. Some fans consider him a player to watch in the coming years, with suggestions that he could rise further in the competitive scene. I think it’s the right time for him to take the next step in his career, where he can regularly compete in high-level tier 1 events by joining a team with a stronger structure and deeper tactical strategies. Only then would we truly see if he can compete against such opposition consistently while continuing to deliver monstrous performances.

In the BO3 match against Astralis to secure a spot at the Major, he stepped up with a strong performance, achieving a 1.35 rating and a 1.48 impact rating, which were key to securing the win.

This is his first big LAN Event.

He’s active and has a nice balance of support play in the early rounds and aggression. Overall, he seems smart, and I think he adapts well to the opponent’s situation (for example, when the enemy doesn’t have a sniper, he becomes significantly more aggressive). His movement and decision-making are his strong suits, and he counters opponents at a high level, as shown against Astralis on the CT side of Inferno, when he killed the first player in apps from mini pit and instantly reacted, expecting a mini pit smoke. He then ran towards Tarik’s box, looking at the ground to dodge enemy flashes.

His split-second decision-making is also top-notch, as in some situations, he shows a remarkable level of awareness. He’s also highly creative with utility, using it in unexpected ways during tricky situations. Sometimes he becomes the entry fragger on site hits when it’s unnecessary, which I think is a mistake. Also, it seems like when he gets in the zone and starts playing really well, he sometimes overreaches and tries to be the hero, which leads to mistakes.

He is a modern-style AWPer who, aside from his exceptional AWPing, also demonstrates impressive rifling skills. He is an extremely fast and efficient AWPer, and his mechanical skill is exceptional. Despite not having been on the scene for long, he plays with the confidence and composure of a seasoned player. His approach in clutches is impressive, which speaks volumes about his game sense and understanding of the flow of the game. His AWPing style is flashy and filled with confidence. I believe he could be the first player from Passion UA to take the next step in his career and join a larger, more prominent organization. He definitely has the potential to become a dominant tier-1 AWPer.

His best map on the T side over the last three months is Anubis, where he holds a 1.46 rating. On the CT side, his top-performing maps are Inferno with a 1.39 rating, followed by Vertigo, where he maintains a 1.30 rating.

ICY

On the T side, when he plays rifle, he usually stays with someone else to help control the map, always ready for a refrag. He rarely acts on his own, but he shoots well and has calm decision-making. When the player in front of him goes down, he doesn’t always rush to refrag. Instead, he sometimes waits to see if there’s an opportunity to make a bigger impact by using tactical bait or opting for a slightly delayed refrag, preventing the opponent from spraying him down after killing his teammate.

In post-plant situations, he knows when he is in an advantageous position and when he has a free kill. He doesn’t overpeek after getting a kill and plays with the round in mind. When they’re at a disadvantage, he sometimes looks for a kill and gambles on certain positions where opponents might come from, intentionally overlooking others. I would like to see him be a bit more aggressive in these after-plant situations, trying to find a kill before the opponents start their retake.

With the AWP, he’s a bit reserved. From what I’ve seen, he doesn’t really call where he wants to try to get the entry from spawn. I haven’t seen him look for the first kill with the AWP, and in certain situations, he doesn’t overcall the way they enter some sites and is rarely the third guy up front. For example, if there’s a B pop call on Mirage, he could have more impact by not smoking the kitchen window and instead taking it with the AWP to catch rotations, but he stays at the back and throws utility instead.

In early rounds, he has more impact with the AK-47, while the AWP comes into play more in late-round or post-plant situations. You can really notice it when he’s taking map control with a teammate at the start of a round, while on the other hand, when he’s holding the AWP, he mostly waits for an opportunity to open up. This means his impact with the sniper is most noticeable when his teammates are in a position to set him up.

He often gets an upgraded pistol in pistol rounds, so I assume he’s one of the better players in the team.

On the CT side, he’s pretty limited in terms of aggressiveness and doesn’t have much of an attacking arsenal. He doesn’t put pressure on the enemy team, despite having the most important gun in the game. Because of that, opponents feel more relaxed moving around the map. He rarely uses spawn to peek aggressively, and when playing sites, he plays them passively as well. The fact is that he doesn’t exploit the AWP enough.

I also feel like he doesn’t have much of a voice in the team, at least from what I’ve seen in the games I watched. If Kaisar needs to be micromanaged, that’s a problem. It means that a sniper won’t be able to make the right decisions on their own, which is crucial for them to perform effectively, though maybe Boombl4 prefers to control the sniper, or that’s just the structure Groove has set for him.

Overall, he’s calm under pressure and never rushes into repeeking. He knows when his teammates are behind him and where it’s safe. He tactically chooses which fights to take and doesn’t get carried away in chaotic situations.

His best maps over the last three months are Dust2 and Vertigo. On Dust2, he has a rating of 1.44, while on Vertigo, he maintains a solid 1.27 rating.

This is his first big LAN Event.

Although Nikita, let’s say, underperformed during this RMR with a rating below expectations, that number doesn’t truly reflect his skill level. The young Ukrainian is quickly gaining recognition as one of the most promising talents to come out of his country in recent years. With his impressive skills and undeniable potential, he’s drawing a lot of attention. His team, Passion UA, has certainly been one of the more surprising and refreshing stories from the last-ever RMR in Counter-Strike. The team defied expectations and proved the doubters wrong by qualifying for this year’s most prestigious tournament, the Major. The playing style his team follows is carefully designed and adapted to the individual players, and it’s clear that his teammates, along with him, form a well-balanced and cohesive unit. A lot of credit goes to fear and Kane for developing these players in a smart and natural way, allowing them to play with feel and initiative, without too much micromanagement.

On the CT side, he primarily plays anchor roles, except for mid on Anubis. His strongest positions are B anchor on Vertigo and Ancient, where he posted ratings of 1.30 and 1.27, respectively, over the past three months. On the T side, he has a bit more freedom and space, playing some more favorable positions aside from lurk roles, like mid on Anubis, his best map with a 1.15 rating, and Inferno’s Banana, where he holds a 1.09 rating in the same period.

What stands out about him is his excellent utility usage combined with razor-sharp aim and lightning-fast reactions. He has a 61.3% headshot rate (for comparison, donk has 60.8% and b1t has 66.3%), which is insanely good. He possesses a support flair that has to be both innate and developed over time, as it’s a rare quality in today’s Counter-Strike scene. One thing that really surprised me was that I honestly couldn’t believe a 17-year-old who relatively recently stepped onto the scene could play with such maturity and make so few mistakes. Another area where he really stands out is his movement, and he’s really annoying to play against, especially when I noticed how he perfectly does shoulder peeks against an AWP. He uses the gap after a missed shot from the sniper to take space, look for another opponent, and isolate a duel with them. It’s truly remarkable, especially considering how young he is.

I’m expecting him to deliver the kind of performances we’ve seen from him over the last few months. I’ve already seen what he’s capable of against teams like Spirit and Virtus.pro, and it’s clear he has the ability to step up on the Major stage.
