Chinese team TYLOO will begin their FISSURE Playground 1 campaign without one of their key players. Jee is set to miss the opening match against Virtus.pro, with head coach zhokiNg stepping in as a temporary replacement.

According to an official announcement from FISSURE’s X (Twitter) page, Dongkai “Jee” Ji will not be able to attend the start of FISSURE Playground 1 due to delays in receiving his passport with a German visa. The tournament organizers stated that Jee will join “as soon as possible,” but will miss at least the team’s opening match. In the meantime, TYLOO will field head coach Weijie “zhokiNg” Zhong, who last played for the squad in August 2024.

While zhokiNg is no stranger to the TYLOO roster and brings recent playing experience, relying on a coach to fill the shoes of a starting player is never ideal. However, their tournament opener against a strengthened Virtus.pro lineup featuring Perfecto is already a tall order. Playing without Jee could cost them vital early momentum and make it harder to build rhythm as the event progresses.
