Team Vitality continue their historic run in CS2 — the team has now secured 29 consecutive wins in LAN series (Bo3/Bo5), officially surpassing the legendary record set by Ninjas in Pyjamas back in 2013. At that time, NiP had stopped at 28 straight wins — now, Vitality stand as the new record holders.
Rewriting History: Vitality Set New LAN Record with 29 Wins
The record-breaking victory came in the semifinals of IEM Dallas 2025, where Vitality defeated Team Falcons 2-1. The series was tense: the French squad confidently took Dust2 (13–7), lost Train (6–13), but bounced back on Inferno to win 13–11. With this result, Vitality reached their sixth consecutive grand final at a major tournament.
Since Robin “ropz” Kool joined the lineup in January 2025, Vitality have won five prestigious tournaments: IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 21, BLAST Open Lisbon, IEM Melbourne, and BLAST Rivals. These victories also earned them their fifth ESL Grand Slam — a milestone that further cements their dominant presence on the global stage.

On the Brink of 30: A New Era of Dominance in CS2
Up next is the grand final of IEM Dallas, where Vitality will face MOUZ. If they win, the streak will grow to 30 — another step toward setting a new benchmark in the CS2 era.
For comparison:
Longest LAN Bo3/Bo5 Series Win Streaks:
- Vitality (2025) — 29
- NiP (2013) — 28
- Liquid (2019) — 22
Longest Overall Match Win Streaks (all formats):
- NiP (2013) — 60
- Vitality (2025) — 29+

Vitality no longer just contend for the title of the best team of 2025 — they’re confidently marching toward becoming one of the greatest teams in Counter-Strike history. Their incredible streak of 29 consecutive LAN series wins, constant appearances in grand finals, and consistently high-level play prove that this roster can maintain its dominance for a long time to come. And perhaps, Vitality are the ones who will define the new standard of excellence in the CS2 era.
