Former captain of the legendary Natus Vincere roster, Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko, has announced the launch of his own esports academy. The project, which had been in preparation for several months, was unveiled after Teslenko relocated from Bali to Europe. According to Zeus, his goal is to share his experience with a new generation of players and build a quality educational platform for future esports stars.
Free Education — With Restrictions
The academy offers completely free training, which has already attracted over 2,000 students who have signed up for the courses. However, Teslenko made one condition clear from the start: players from Russia are not accepted. This is despite the fact that all communication on the academy’s social media channels is currently conducted in Russian.
One detail that has caught attention is the academy’s logo, which is stylized in the colors of the Ukrainian flag — but inverted, with blue at the bottom and yellow on top. Whether this was a design error or a deliberate choice remains unclear.

The Legacy of One of CS:GO’s Greatest Leaders
Zeus is remembered as one of the most successful in-game leaders in the history of Ukrainian CS:GO. With NAVI, he won a number of prestigious tournaments, including Intel Extreme Masters X – San Jose, MLG Major Championship: Columbus 2016, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 5 and StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 7.
In 2017, Teslenko became a Major champion by winning PGL Major Kraków with Gambit. After returning to NAVI later that year, he helped the organization regain its position among the world’s top teams before retiring in 2019.

A New Venture After Several Failed Businesses
Zeus’s project follows a failed attempt by another CS legend — s1mple, who launched his own academy in 2024, only to shut it down shortly afterward due to a lack of interest. Whether Zeus can keep his initiative going long-term remains to be seen.
A Return to the Scene — as a Mentor
Today, Teslenko is attempting a comeback in a new role — that of mentor, teacher, and coach. His academy promises to be an open platform for developing young talent. But whether it becomes a lasting success or just another short-lived business venture is a question that still hangs in the air.
