The second stage of the most prestigious and important tournament in the CS2 world has officially begun. Eight teams that made it through Stage 1 — some with hard-fought wins, others with relative ease — now face dangerous and experienced opponents. This is where the real battle for the playoffs begins in this incredible tournament.
Opening Matches
FaZe vs HEROIC – 13:3 (Dust2)
In a surprise result for both themselves and their fans, HEROIC — who breezed through Stage 1 with a 3-0 record — lost their opening match in dominant fashion. The key figures for FaZe were frozen and s1mple, who posted 21:5 and 17:5 K/D stats respectively.

Falcons vs B8 – 8:13 (Ancient)
The young Ukrainian squad B8 faced a seasoned opponent in Falcons, who boast significant big-stage experience, including deep playoff runs and the star duo of NiKo and m0NESY. However, B8 remained calm and confident, taking down the heavyweights and starting the stage with a 1-0 score.

Virtus.pro vs OG – 13:2 (Inferno)
OG’s star player nicoodoz, who had an incredible 3.08 rating against Complexity in Stage 1, had a nightmare showing this time — finishing with a 0.29 rating on Inferno.

3DMAX vs BetBoom – 13:4 (Anubis)
The Russian team BetBoom, who qualified with a solid 3-1 record, started Stage 2 with a loss to 3DMAX. Despite previous success on Anubis (13:3 vs Legacy, and 16:14 vs Wildcard), something went wrong this time around.

FURIA vs Lynn Vision – 13:4 (Nuke)
FURIA’s revamped roster confidently began their second stage with a win over Lynn Vision, putting them at 1-0. The standout was molodoy with a 21:5 K/D and a 1.99 rating.

paiN vs Nemiga – 13:7 (Dust2)
The Belarusians advanced from Stage 1 with a 3-1 record but stumbled in their opening match against paiN. While it’s far from over, they will need to reflect and be ready for tougher challenges ahead.

MIBR vs Legacy – 10:13 (Nuke)
Legacy, who advanced to Stage 2 with a 1-2 record, started off with an inspiring win over MIBR. This is a massive morale boost that could positively affect their future performances.

M80 vs TYLOO – 9:13 (Train)
Many predicted TYLOO would finish 0-3 after a tough first stage, but they defied expectations. After a 4:8 first half, they won eight straight rounds to secure a 1-0 start.

Round 2 — First 2–0 and 0–2 Scores
Virtus.pro vs B8 – 13:3 (Inferno)
Inferno was clearly a disaster for the Ukrainian side. They managed only three rounds on T-side, while fame and electroNic’s aggressive play secured a dominant 2-0 score for VP.

paiN vs FURIA – 13:11 (Dust2)
Brazilian derbies are always exciting, especially on the Major stage. paiN continue to impress — nqz’s pistol-round ace gave the team a major confidence boost, leading to a 13:11 victory.

3DMAX vs Legacy – 7:13 (Inferno)
The Brazilian underdogs are writing history. From supposed outsiders to possible 3-0 contenders in Stage 2, they completely controlled the game vs 3DMAX. dumau’s quad-kill with dual pistols sent a clear message to the French team.

FaZe vs TYLOO – 13:5 (Anubis)
Despite FaZe’s stacked roster, TYLOO held their ground in the first half, ending it 5:7. However, their T-side lacked execution, and FaZe closed it out with ease.

HEROIC vs BetBoom – 13:9 (Mirage)
HEROIC bounced back to even their record at 1-1. A strong T-side on Mirage allowed them to send BetBoom into the elimination pool at 0-2.

Falcons vs Lynn Vision – 9:13 (Nuke)
Another upset — this time in a negative light. Falcons, considered one of the stage favorites, suffered their second loss. Lynn Vision dominated the defense, conceding just two rounds and finishing 1-1.

M80 vs OG – 16:13 (Ancient)
The day’s first overtime match happened here. Despite nicoodoz pulling off a 4K with the AWP to defend A site, it wasn’t enough. OG fell 16:13 in extras.

MIBR vs Nemiga – 12:16 (Ancient)
