The first day of Stage 3 at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 delivered plenty of exciting CS2 action, but individual performances stood out the most. The top 5 players of the day included both established stars and fresh faces already making a strong case for leadership roles within their teams.

The best player of the day was sh1ro from Team Spirit, who put on a near-flawless display on Dust2 against paiN — finishing with a 17/4 scoreline and the highest rating of the day: 1.98. Also featured on the list are molodoy, donk, ZywOo and jL — all of whom left a strong impression on the first day of the Champions Stage.

jL (NAVI) — 1.38

In the match against Nemiga on Train, NAVI’s rifler jL delivered a dominant performance, finishing with 22 kills, 9 deaths, and a 1.74 rating. His aggressive style helped NAVI take control of the map and close out the game with ease.

ZywOo (Vitality) — 1.39

After Vitality’s unexpected loss in their opening match of the stage, ZywOo quickly reminded everyone why he’s considered one of the best in the world. He dropped 22 kills and 11 deaths with a 1.77 rating against Nemiga, leading his team to a bounce-back win and showing that Vitality aren’t done yet.

donk (Spirit) — 1.53

In the same match versus paiN, donk once again proved his superstar status. He ended the game with 19 kills, 11 deaths, and a 1.91 rating, as Spirit completely outclassed their opponents on Dust2 and gave them no chance to recover.

molodoy (FURIA) — 1.63

FURIA’s newest Kazakh sniper continues to impress. Against Aurora on Dust2, molodoy delivered a sharp performance with 22 kills, 11 deaths, and a 1.92 rating. His composure and consistency already make him a powerful asset in this newly reshaped FURIA roster.

sh1ro (Spirit) — 1.71

In Spirit’s one-sided match against paiN, sh1ro put on a clinical performance, finishing with 17 kills, just 4 deaths, and a 1.98 rating. His play looked almost effortless — AWP dominance and flawless positioning left no room for the opponents.

The first day of the Champions Stage at BLAST.tv Austin Major showed that individual form can be a decisive factor in the race for playoffs. Veteran snipers, rising stars, and consistent riflers all made their mark early. With several intense days of action still ahead, expect the top player rankings to keep evolving.
