Team Spirit have officially announced a new addition to their CS2 roster — 17-year-old Ivan “zweih” Gogin. The young talent replaces Boris “magixx” Vorobiev, who was recently moved to the bench. The roster update was shared through the team’s social media channels.

From academy leagues to the Major stage — zweih’s rapid rise

Ivan Gogin is a promising rifler from Russia who, in less than two years, has risen from academy teams to performing on the Major stage. With Nemiga Gaming, he established himself as a consistent anchor player, known for his disciplined and positional playstyle.

At his debut Major — the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 — Ivan already managed to make an impression. Despite Nemiga being eliminated in the third stage by paiN Gaming, the team’s performance was widely regarded as a success.

Key achievements with Nemiga

During his short stint with Nemiga, zweih secured several notable victories:

  • RES European Series #5
  • HellCup #10
  • FASTCUP: CSGORUN Cup Season 1 (2nd place)
  • RES Regional Champions
  • ESL Challenger League Season 48: Europe (2nd place)
  • HellCup #11
  • The Austin Major — his first major international experience

With Nemiga, zweih claimed multiple online titles and reached two finals in top-tier regional events. He also made his Major debut at BLAST.tv Austin 2025 — a key milestone in his early career.

Roster update before Cologne

Although zweih plays a similar role to both magixx and zont1x, only magixx has been officially removed from the starting lineup so far. This could indicate potential tactical changes within the team. Overall, Spirit continue their strategy of refreshing the roster with young, mechanically gifted players.

Zweih’s last 3 months (stat line):

  • Rating: 1.16
  • IMPACT: 1.26
  • DPR: 0.66
  • ADR: 83
  • KAST: 72.6%

These numbers highlight his consistency and fragging potential. The new lineup is aiming for strong showings at upcoming tournaments such as IEM Cologne 2025.

Updated Team Spirit roster:

  • Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov (IGL)
  • Miroslav “zont1x” Plakhotya
  • Danil “donk” Kryshkovets
  • Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov
  • Ivan “zweih” Gogin
  • Sergey “hally” Shavayev (Coach)

Betting on youth — a new era for Spirit

By signing zweih, the organization once again reinforces its commitment to developing young stars. donk, zont1x, and now zweih are all vivid examples of how trusting talent brings major victories. Over the past two years, Spirit have already won IEM Katowice, the Major in Shanghai, BLAST, and PGL Astana — and now they’re building for the next cycle. The arrival of zweih isn’t just a roster change — it’s another step in creating the dominant team of the future.
