Ukrainian esports organization B8 has announced the full transfer of Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi to its active roster. The player’s contract was bought out from NAVI, where he had previously competed as part of both the main lineup and the academy. B8 shared the news on their official X (Twitter) page.
The path from NAVI Junior to the main team
npl is a product of the NAVI Junior system, where he spent a year showing consistent growth. In 2022, he was promoted to the main roster of NAVI but was benched after six months due to inconsistent results. During this period, the team earned the following placements at international events:
- BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 — 5–6th place
- BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023 — 4–6th place
- Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023 — 3–4th place
- BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 — 9–11th place
In total, Andrii earned over $40,000 in prize money during his time with NAVI.
Two years of progress with B8
In July 2023, B8 loaned npl, and over the next two years, he became a vital part of the team. Together, they claimed several victories in tier-2 and tier-3 events, including:
- CCT Season 2 European Series #2, #5, #10, #18 — 1st place
They also earned podium finishes at more competitive tournaments:
- ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 — 2nd place
- CCT Season 2 Global Finals — 2nd place
- MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 — 3rd place
At BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 — B8’s debut Major — the team finished 17–19th. Despite the result, it was a valuable experience on the big stage.
The official transfer of npl to B8 marks a logical step forward for both sides, as new challenges await the player now as a permanent member of the squad.
The current B8 roster is:
- npl – Andrii Kukharskyi
- esenthial – Dmytro Tsvir
- headtr1ck – Danyyl Valitov
- alex666 – Oleksii Yarmoshchuk
- kensizor – Artem Kapran
- Maddened – Ivan Iordanidi (coach)
A return home or a new beginning for npl
npl’s transfer to B8 is not only a logical continuation of a successful collaboration but also an important step in the player’s career. During his loan period, he proved himself a stable and valuable asset to the lineup and gained invaluable experience — including on the international stage. A full-time contract now opens up new opportunities for his development within a Ukrainian organization.
For B8, this move is also a key long-term reinforcement. With chemistry already built between npl and the rest of the team, they can confidently prepare for the upcoming seasons with a stable core. New tournaments lie ahead — and with them, new challenges in which Kukharskyi will have the chance to solidify himself as a cornerstone of the roster.
