FPS boost and manual installation on Windows 11
“I saved a pro demo and ran it for five minutes through the same POV — the difference in average framerate and stability is very noticeable,” the author wrote. “I’m sticking with 537.58 now.”

According to the user, driver 537.58 doesn’t install normally on Windows 11, but it can be installed manually via Device Manager. Full instructions below.
How to install Nvidia driver 537.58 manually on Windows 11
Extract the driver:
- Download 537.58-*.exe, run the installer and wait for it to extract, then click “Cancel.”
- Or use 7-Zip / WinRAR to extract manually.
Find the extracted folder, e.g.:
- C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\537.58\Win10_64\International\Display.Driver
Open Device Manager:
- Find “Display adapters” > your NVIDIA GPU

The community shares jokes and technical driver insights
petersmartypants:
“I spin my head around and shout oooga oooga before launching CS2. Has increased my FPS by 50% no cap”
thesereneknight:
“People on the nvidia subreddit also recommended (and probably still do) this driver in general. I had gone back to it, but it’s meh. The average improves for almost all games, including CS2, but it brought back intermittent stutters like in CSGO. If I remember correctly, after this driver there were at least one (maybe two) drivers with CS2 related fixes, and moving to newer versions made things better (with a lower avg).
If you just want to get your averages up (even in CSGO) – try drivers before 49X or 48X (or maybe even older – I don’t quite remember). You’ll get even prettier graphs.”
The comments reflect two types of community reactions: on one hand — humorous takes on performance rituals, and on the other — technical discussion about driver efficiency. Some users confirm that driver 537.58 can boost average FPS in CS2 but warn about possible downsides like microstutters. It’s also mentioned that even older drivers (pre-49X or 48X) may provide better performance on certain systems. Overall, the discussion highlights the community’s ongoing search for optimal drivers for smooth competitive gameplay.
Driver 537.58 was released back in 2023 but is still referenced by gamers who seek stability and maximum performance in competitive titles like CS2.
