Danish organization Preasy Esport has officially announced the signing of experienced player Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen. He will replace Jonas “Boye” Østergaard, who is stepping down from the roster after a month of solid performances. niko joins Preasy following a stint with Sashi, where he was on loan from TSM.
The History of Preasy Esport
Preasy Esport (formerly known as Ambush By Preasy DK) is a Danish professional esports organization. Preasy, a subsidiary of the energy company Energive, entered the professional Counter-Strike scene after merging with the Ambush organization, which they revived through their sponsorship on April 23, 2023.
However, just a month later, on June 7, 2023, Preasy and Ambush parted ways. Ambush retained their international roster, while Preasy kept the Danish lineup and rebranded as Preasy Esport.
Between 2023 and 2025, Preasy claimed titles at several tournaments:

- European Pro League Seasons 12, 13, and 14
- Urban Contenders #3
niko’s Track Record
Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen is a well-known name in the professional Counter-Strike scene. Throughout his career, he has represented top-tier teams such as North, OpTic Gaming, Heroic, and OG. His most notable achievements came during his time with North and Heroic, including:

Preasy officially announced the lineup change on social media, expressing gratitude to Boye for his dedication and steady performances, while warmly welcoming niko, highlighting his experience and firepower.
“niko brings both firepower and valuable experience to the team. We’re excited to welcome him and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in the coming matches,” the team stated.
As of now, none of the current players have publicly commented on the transfer, but the overall tone surrounding the move appears positive.
