Two more teams have secured their spots in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 playoffs — NAVI and Vitality. Both squads earned crucial victories in their 2-1 matches. Meanwhile, G2 and Virtus.pro are headed to the 2-2 pool, where they will fight for one last chance to qualify for the playoffs.
NAVI vs G2
The opening map was Mirage — NAVI’s pick. The Ukrainian team controlled most of the action, though G2 tried to put up resistance. One of the most memorable moments came from malbsMd, who managed a knife kill but didn’t have enough time to defuse the bomb. Final score: 13-10 in favor of NAVI.
On Anubis, the momentum shifted dramatically. G2 set the pace early in the second half, forcing NAVI to play on the back foot. With a strong attacking side, the Samurai closed out the map 13-9.

The decider, Inferno, turned into a true thriller. Both teams traded rounds evenly, with no one able to break away. The match went into overtime, and despite malbsMd’s brilliant form, NAVI edged out G2 with a 19-16 win to claim a playoff spot.
Vitality vs Virtus.pro
The first map, Train — a surprising but well-prepared pick by Vitality — saw the French side dominate from start to finish, winning 13-6.
Dust2 played out almost identically, with Vitality once again controlling the game and finishing with the same 13-6 scoreline. The French squad looked solid and confident, while ZywOo showed why he’s considered one of the best in the world — ending the series with 38 kills, 15 deaths, and a 1.71 rating.
