FISSURE Playground 1 kicked off with dominant victories and hard-fought comebacks. On the opening day of the tournament, fans witnessed both Lynn Vision’s total control over 3DMAX and a tense clash between GamerLegion and Wildcard that went down to the decider map. The start of the competition made it clear: the battle for the playoffs will be fierce, and favorites won’t always have an easy path forward.

Chinese Precision: Lynn Vision Sweep Past 3DMAX

Lynn Vision started their FISSURE Playground 1 campaign with a confident 2-0 win over 3DMAX. On the first map, Dust2, the European squad put up a fight but eventually fell short, 10-13. The second map, Anubis, was entirely one-sided — the Chinese team dominated on defense, allowing 3DMAX to take only three rounds. The standout player of the series was Staryy, who finished with 39 kills, 94.6 average damage, and a 1.54 rating.

GamerLegion Fight Back to Defeat Wildcard After Slow Start

The match between GamerLegion and Wildcard began with a strong performance from the North Americans, who took their map pick Inferno 13-4. However, GamerLegion quickly bounced back on Ancient, claiming a 13-8 win. The decider map, Dust2, saw the European squad dominate on the T side and close out the series with a convincing 13-6 scoreline. PR was the best performer of the match, ending with 50 kills, 95.7 average damage, and a 1.42 rating.
