In a decisive match for a place in Stage 3 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, FaZe and MIBR went head-to-head. Both teams had their ups and downs throughout the second stage, but only one could continue the fight for the Major title.
The Road to BLAST.tv Austin Major
FaZe kicked off their campaign with confidence. Wins over HEROIC and TYLOO gave them a strong 2-0 start and a real shot at a flawless 3-0 stage run. However, back-to-back bo3 losses to Legacy and 3DMAX put them at 2-2, on the brink of elimination with one last chance to stay alive.
For MIBR, it was the complete opposite. Early defeats to Legacy and Nemiga placed them dangerously close to a 0-3 elimination. But the Brazilians fought back, claiming two crucial victories against BetBoom and Falcons, earning the right to play for a spot in the next phase.

The Decisive Battle
The series began on Anubis, MIBR’s map pick. FaZe quickly established control, shutting down any attempt by their opponents to gain momentum — a dominant 13-4 win.
Ancient, FaZe’s pick, proved to be far more intense. MIBR stayed close, even taking a 12-11 lead. But a crucial 1vs1 post-plant clutch by EliGE turned the tide. FaZe forced overtime and didn’t waste the opportunity — closing out the map 16-12 and the series 2-0, avoiding a third map on Nuke.
