Milan Svejda expressed his opinion about the Falcons’ defeat on Twitter. In his opinion, all the blame lies with the training staff, because the reason for the defeat is that the team could not cope with the psychological pressure, and the psychological support staff is responsible for this.

Is periodization or the ‘weight of five rings’ to blame?
In response to Svejda’s post, Lars Robl, the person responsible for psychological training at the Falcons, agreed that more was expected from the team. Robl does not know what is really to blame for the defeat, whether it was that the team peaked too early (periodization) or the weight of the five rings, but he assured that he would definitely look into it and hinted that the team would still show its game in the coming months of summer.

Legacy as an example of proper motivation and playing under pressure
Legacy can already be considered the discovery of this tournament, a team that got into stage 1 as a substitute at the last moment, a team that was expected to lose 0:3 in the first stage, but they have already advanced to the final stage. There was incredible pressure on them; it’s hard to play without support when everyone has already written you off as losers, but not the Legacy team, who have been playing every match as if it were their last since the beginning of the tournament.
If you watch all their games, they react vividly to every round they take, supporting and encouraging each other. With each match they win, they get more and more fired up and become stronger. This is an example of a motivated team, a team that has coped with pressure and lack of support and proves with every match that it deserves better.
Why is this so important?
Psychological state is important in any sport, and in esports, where thousands of eyes are watching you from the hall and hundreds of thousands of eyes are watching you from the other side of the camera, it is difficult to maintain it in proper condition. The moral state of the team during matches rests on the shoulders of the captain, who must lift it if the team loses a round or makes a mistake. Outside of matches, specialists should take care of this, as even the most talented players can make mistakes in matches and reflect on them after the match, which will have a negative effect on future games, creating a vicious cycle. Therefore, using the Falcons as an example, we see that morale, as well as personal form and team cohesion, is very important, and both form and morale need to be worked on.
We can only guess what lies ahead for the Falcons, but we can say for sure that it will be a difficult period for them. We can also say for sure that the second stage of Blast TV Austin Major 2025 will soon come to an end, and with it, all the participants in the final competition will be known. This major has been a place where all the patterns have been broken. The first and second stages have brought teams that no one bet on to the forefront and brought down those that everyone bet on. If this trend continues, the third stage will simply blow the roof off with its performances.
