ENCE has announced a major change to their CS2 roster: Swiss-Kosovar rifler Rigon “rigoN” Gashi joins the team, while legendary Danish IGL Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander is moved to the bench to explore new opportunities. Alongside the roster change, the in-game leadership will now be taken over by Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev.

rigoN returns to action after BNE’s disbandment

For 25-year-old rigoN, this marks his first stable return to the international stage since 2020. His signing comes after the official disbandment of Bad News Eagles in June — the team with which he reached the Legends Stage of three Majors: Antwerp, Rio, and Paris.

His previous stint with BIG in 2024 was short-lived, as his aggressive playstyle clashed with the more methodical system led by Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz. Now, rigoN has a fresh opportunity in ENCE, a team currently undergoing a rebuild after losing its title-contending core in 2023.

The gla1ve chapter in ENCE comes to a close

gla1ve’s departure marks the end of a notable era. While his one-and-a-half-year tenure didn’t yield consistent results, he leaves the team with one significant trophy — Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, a title claimed on home soil in Finland.

Lukas has been a great player and true professional,” said ENCE General Manager Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen. “It was an honor to lift the trophy with him, and we’re truly thankful for his dedication.

Despite his pedigree, gla1ve couldn’t recreate past dominance after the loss of ENCE’s core. The organization has now shifted focus toward a younger lineup with more aggressive tendencies. According to management, Rossander is free to explore new offers.

sdy takes the reins as new in-game leader

The captaincy will now be handled by Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev, who previously led Monte during their run to the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. His composed play and tactical mind made him the natural choice to assume the IGL role.

myltsi enters on a trial basis

Additionally, ENCE confirmed that 20-year-old Finnish prospect Ville “myltsi” Vilkman, who recently replaced xKacpersky (on loan from NiP), has officially joined the roster on a trial basis. The team aims to evaluate his long-term potential and fit within the squad before making a permanent commitment.

ENCE’s updated roster:

  • Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev (IGL)
  • Paavo “podi” Heiskanen
  • Ryan “Neityu” Aubry
  • Rigon “rigoN” Gashi
  • Ville “myltsi” Vilkman (trial)
  • Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn (coach)
  • Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander (benched)

First test: BLAST Bounty Season 2

The revamped lineup will debut at BLAST Bounty Season 2, kicking off on August 5. With new rules and high stakes for each victory, this tournament will be the first real test of ENCE’s new direction — a blend of youthful energy and international experience.
