Counter-Strike 2 players are once again facing visual glitches. This time, the issue affects how skins from the Arsenal Pass are displayed when viewed through the scopes of certain rifles. While the bug doesn’t impact actual gameplay, it has affected many users who frequently interact with their inventory and inspect cosmetic items.
Scopes distort or hide items
The bug was discovered by a regular CS2 player. When inspecting items in the inventory through the AWP or SSG scope, the skin models disappear entirely, and the scope itself begins to glow.
With the SG 553 and AUG, the issue is slightly different — the view becomes heavily blurred, making it impossible to see the item clearly. The bug is not tied to any specific map or mode and only appears in the inventory interface.

Recent bugs that were already fixed
This isn’t the first technical glitch in CS2 in recent weeks. Previously, a bug involving smoke grenades allowed players to see enemy silhouettes through the smoke when a Molotov was thrown behind it. Valve addressed and fixed the issue quickly.
Another recent example involved missing textures on the Nuke map — between the roof and pipes near the double doors and vent on bombsite B. That issue was also patched.
No response from notable figures yet
As of now, no well-known streamers or professional players have publicly commented on the situation. Valve has also remained silent, with no mention of the issue in official channels or bug tracking lists.

The issue is only visual, but still noticeable
While the bug does not affect gameplay, it disrupts an important part of the user experience — viewing and appreciating cosmetic items. The community hopes Valve will take notice and address the problem in upcoming updates, as they’ve done with previous visual glitches.
