Today, Valve released a major update to CS2 tied to the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The game now features a viewer pass, capsules with team logos, and player autograph stickers. However, as is often the case with major updates, not all elements received unanimous praise from the community.
Stickers That Missed the Mark
This time, particular criticism was directed at a few specific autograph stickers. Users pointed out issues with the autographs of 1eeR from Nemiga and Twistzz from Team Liquid. Fans noted that Twistzz’s signature includes a malformed letter “T”, which distorts his otherwise recognizable autograph.
As for 1eeR, his signature suffers from overly thick letters—especially the letter “e”, which looks out of place and hard to read. Compared to these, other autographs appear much cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing.
Stickers with Personal Touches
Not all signatures disappointed. Some players added personal and meaningful touches to their autographs. mzinho from The MongolZ included a tribute to the team’s coach, maaRaa, in his signature, showing respect and appreciation.
Meanwhile, MAJ3R from Aurora added a heartfelt note referencing his two children. These small details resonated with fans and added emotional depth to the Major sticker set.
Community Reaction
Overall, the community welcomed the update with cautious optimism. Some are still unsure about the new sticker style, but many appreciated the visual variety:

Another well-received feature is the new scraping mechanic: when team stickers are applied to a weapon and scraped, the background disappears but the team logo remains. This opens up new customization possibilities for players.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is not only the main tournament event of the summer, but also another chance to add unique stickers to your collection. Although some autographs were disappointing, others managed to pleasantly surprise and touch. Valve has taken a step towards updating its style, and although it is not without mistakes, the community is already noting that this time at least something really new is coming.
