The second day of the Champions Stage at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 brought even more intrigue, playoff battles, and the first teams to qualify for the top 8. Spirit and FURIA were the first to lock in their playoff spots, while MOUZ and paiN now face elimination in their next match. Here’s everything you need to know from Day Two.

Qualification Matches (2–0 teams)

Spirit — 2:0 Natus Vincere (bo3)

Spirit continue to dominate. Against NAVI, they once again showed sharp discipline, well-executed strategies, and individual excellence. NAVI tried to put up a fight but couldn’t find consistency and now drop to the 2–1 bracket.

FURIA — 2:0 Virtus.pro (bo3)

FURIA look to be in peak form. Their victory over Virtus.pro was confident and composed: clean attacks, calm retakes, and key plays from yuurih and KSCERATO secured the Brazilians a spot in the playoffs.

Mid-Bracket Matches (1–1 teams)

The MongolZ 13–7 Lynn Vision (Nuke)

In a purely Asian showdown, The MongolZ outplayed Lynn Vision with strong CT-side setups and coordinated mid-round calls. The Chinese squad held on early but couldn’t withstand MongolZ’s pace in the closing rounds.

Aurora 4–13 G2 (Inferno)

G2 bounced back quickly after their Day One loss. HeavyGod and huNter- led the charge on Inferno, dominating Aurora, who looked lackluster on their T-side.

Legacy 8–13 FaZe (Anubis)

Legacy managed to put up some resistance, but FaZe’s experience and consistency prevailed. s1mple made impact in key rounds, while EliGE provided reliable firepower throughout. FaZe move to 2–1, while Legacy drop to the danger zone.

3DMAX 2–13 Vitality (Nuke)

Vitality steamrolled the French side in a swift and one-sided match. ZywOo and Spinx took control from the start, giving 3DMAX no room to respond. It’s a much-needed win for Vitality after their rough start, while 3DMAX now sit at 1–2.

Elimination Matches (0–2 teams)

MOUZ 2–1 Liquid (bo3)

One of the day’s tensest matches ended in a comeback for MOUZ. After losing the opening map, they regrouped and took the next two thanks to xertioN’s individual brilliance. Liquid are now on the edge of elimination.

paiN 2–1 Nemiga (bo3)

paiN survived early elimination by defeating Nemiga in a hard-fought three-map series. After losing Ancient, the Brazilians found their footing and controlled the next two maps. Nemiga becomes the first team eliminated from the Major with a 0–3 record.
