Maximum CS 2 online reach – 1.47 million players
In the first day after the release Counter-Strike 2 was played by more than 1.47 million players at the same time. This only brought the game closer to the CS:GO record.
The previous version had 1,818,773 simultaneous online players, a record set in May 2023.
CS2 was in closed beta testing for a long time. The release took place on the night of September 28.
