Trash talk is an art — and at this Major, it thrived. Whether it was fiery screams, cold insults, or meme-worthy theatrics, some players turned their voice comms into full-blown stand-up performances. Here are the funniest and most memorable banter moments from BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
1eeR — The New Trash Talk King from Nemiga
Aleksandr “1eeR” Nahornyj, the IGL of Nemiga, made it clear: if there’s a mic, he’s using it. In nearly every match, 1eeR had something to say to his opponents — not just for fun, but to energize his team. As he said in an interview, “When I scream, everyone plays better.”
Top moments:
“Did you remember RES in Serbia, when I f*ck you” — thrown at 3DMAX when Nemiga was leading 11:9. Unfortunately, they lost 11:13.
“Guys, taxi driving at home in the few minutes” — towards M80, during a 12:2 stomp in an elimination match. Nemiga won 2:0.
“Mr. apEX, you need to wake up right now” — after their first round win against Vitality.
“British player stop throwing entry!” — screamed at mezii while Vitality was already 6 rounds ahead. Cold… but not inaccurate.
karrigan — Sirens, Stand-up, and Tactical Comedy
Finn “karrigan” Andersen from FaZe doesn’t just lead — he entertains. His infamous “ambulance siren” voice made a comeback, and this time BLAST even added a custom on-screen animation of an ambulance led by karrigan himself.

Top moments:
After a 2v5 clutch by s1mple and frozen vs MIBR: “Sasha, good f*cking shit, we can just win, I don’t care how!”
Against Heroic, with a dominant 8:1 lead: “You know what this round is called? Anti-flash Long! What are you doing? Flashing Long! Come on! It’s early morning! Are you tilted yet? Want to talk to sAW? Call a timeout!”

After destroy HEROIC, karrigan again began to speak in their direction:
“xfl0ud, gonna talk now? Last time you had a lot to say. Alright then. That’s emotion, yxngstxr! Word for word! 0–3! Oh sorry — 13–3!”
EmiliaQAQ — The Meme Machine of Chinese CS
Lynn Vision’s EmiliaQAQ is a full-on performer. After beating NRG, he jumped on the desk, yelling — in a moment that reminded everyone of AleksiB’s iconic PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 celebration. Later, after qualifying to Stage 3 by beating B8, he did it again.
After defeating Liquid in their first Stage 3 match, he mimed shooting arrows at them — confusing many. Turns out, this was a deep-cut Chinese meme about Twistzz being “The Director” of Team Liquid’s internal politics. In Chinese, “bow and arrow” (弓箭) sounds like “palace director” (宫监), a pun suggesting Twistzz “plotted the downfall” of cadiaN and others.
dumau — Screaming Is Also a Strategy
Brazilian rifler Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer doesn’t say much, but he screams like no other. His explosive energy after every big round is unmatched — to the point where fans started wondering if he might burst from pure hype.

apEX — Short but Loud
The Vitality captain is usually one of the loudest voices in the room, but at this Major, apEX kept things relatively chill — until Legacy shocked them.
After Vitality won the pistol round against Legacy, apEX jumped up and screamed:
“Caralho!”
Unfortunately, that was the last round they would win — Legacy took the map 13–3, ending Vitality’s insane 30-match win streak.
