Less than two weeks before the start of the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, tournament organizers have announced a last-minute change to the participant list: Bestia will not be able to attend the event due to visa issues affecting two of their players. Taking their place at the Major will be Legacy, who had previously failed to qualify.
Bestia Pulled from the Major at the Last Minute — Legacy Step In
It was confirmed that Bestia players Lucho and Tomi were unable to secure their U.S. visas in time. In a dramatic twist, the organization reportedly received confirmation that the visa issues would be resolved just as BLAST sent out an official replacement notice. The CEO of Bestia addressed the situation publicly on X (formerly Twitter):
“We just received confirmation from the people who are doing everything they can to help us that Lucho and Tomi will receive their visas on Monday.
But at the same time, we got an email from @BLASTtv informing us that we’re being replaced by Legacy and that the announcement would go live in the next few minutes.
I’m asking for one final push: help us stop this injustice.
We deserve to represent Argentina at the Major, and there is still time.”

Organizers have yet to comment on the situation, but this marks the second visa-related replacement ahead of the tournament, with the visa issue counter now at 2.
Legacy, who will take Bestia’s slot, will compete with the following lineup:
- lux
- latto
- dumau
- n1ssim
- saadzin
A Surprise Opportunity for Legacy — Major Debut Ahead
Although Legacy did not make it through the open qualifiers, they’ve shown solid form recently — finishing 3rd at ESL Challenger League Season 49 North America and placing 12th–14th at PGL Bucharest. This unexpected opportunity marks a huge moment for the team, as they prepare to make their Major debut.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 kicks off soon, and such roster changes could significantly impact seeding, group dynamics, and the overall outcome of the tournament.
