MOUZ Defeat FaZe
MOUZ became the first semifinalists, confidently beating FaZe 2:0. Dust2 was the most competitive map — both teams stayed neck-and-neck until xertioN pulled off a crucial 1v4 clutch in the second half. From there, FaZe lost control, dropping round after round, while MOUZ gained momentum.

Mirage was one-sided — MOUZ took it 13:2. Jimpphat completely dominated the server, posting 27 kills and just 3 deaths. His aggressive yet calculated play was the driving force behind the win. The team played in sync, with clear role distribution and adaptation to every situation on the map.

Despite karrigan’s efforts, FaZe fell apart. The roster is still trying to find balance after EliGE’s arrival — and that was especially clear under pressure. FaZe lost key duels, couldn’t recover from early round losses, and looked indecisive throughout the second map.

Spirit Handle Wildcard with Ease
In the second match of the day, Spirit cruised past Wildcard, taking both Anubis and Dust2 with comfortable scorelines. Wildcard started Anubis strong, leading 5:2, but Spirit quickly adjusted, shifted the pace, and took control for the rest of the map. donk confidently opened rounds, played aggressively but smartly, and his teammates provided solid support on entries.

Dust2 was even quicker. Spirit held sites with minimal losses, played clean retakes, and avoided mistakes. zont1x locked down B site, while sh1ro once again showcased disciplined AWP play. The team looked composed and methodical, without unnecessary improvisation.

It was a mature performance from Spirit — focused and calm, with no emotional swings. That same composure will be vital in their next match against Vitality.

Underperformers
For FaZe, broky had one of his weakest matches in months: he lost most sniper duels, had little early-round impact, and generally failed to influence the pace of play. EliGE, despite some decent moments on Dust2, looked disconnected — lacking synergy and rhythm with the rest of the team.
Wildcard also fell short of expectations. The team looked disorganized, rushed decisions, and lost initiative after early round trades. They tried to play aggressively but lacked a plan B once things went off-script.
Standout Performers
Jimpphat was the undisputed breakout star of the day. His performance against FaZe wasn’t just flashy — it was efficient: sharp aim, perfect timings, and smart map control. Despite the pressure of playoffs, he looked composed in every situation — as a rifler, as an opener, and as a decision-maker in clutch moments.
zont1x deserves credit too. Often overshadowed by donk or sh1ro, he delivered key retakes on Dust2, reading the opponent’s positions well and keeping things tidy. His game was clean, effective, and team-oriented.
xertioN may not have topped the scoreboard, but his confidence in high-pressure moments was impressive. His 1v4 clutch on Dust2 was one of the most important moments of the day — and may well have turned the entire match in MOUZ’s favor.
Community Reactions
The standout topic on social media was Jimpphat’s performance. Even skeptics were impressed by his map control, decision-making, and composure under pressure.
“Jimpphat is playing like ropz used to for FaZe, but better.”
“That Mirage from MOUZ looked like a scrim vs tier 3 team.”
“FaZe looked like a mix team on Mirage. Zero structure.”
Meanwhile, Spirit earned praise for their discipline and structure, and donk for being a reliable, no-nonsense presence on the server — consistently performing without ego or flashiness.
What’s Coming in Semi-Finals
The semifinals will feature four of the strongest teams in the tournament:
- Falcons vs MOUZ — a clash between m0NESY’s explosiveness and Jimpphat’s control. MOUZ are looking more stable by the day, but Falcons have the firepower to disrupt any system.
- Vitality vs Spirit — the marquee matchup. Vitality haven’t lost since February and look like the world’s best team, but Spirit have shown they game. donk, sh1ro, and co. will have their chance to stop ZywOo’s streak.
Both series have the potential to be the best of the tournament.
