The Chinese team TYLOO continues to impress at FISSURE Playground 1, confidently defeating 3DMAX in the quarterfinals with a 2:0 scoreline. The match further confirmed the team’s excellent form, as they had previously taken down such giants as Virtus.pro and Astralis.
JamYoung and Moseyuh lead TYLOO forward
The series began on Ancient — the map pick of 3DMAX — where both teams had similar win rates (TYLOO — 55%, 3DMAX — 50%). However, it was the Chinese side that looked more structured and collected, securing the map 13:9. On the second map, Inferno, TYLOO took full control. The first half ended with a dominant 10:2 lead, and 3DMAX never managed to get back into the game — final score 13:7.
Individually, JamYoung stood out with 35 kills, while Moseyuh posted the highest rating of the match — 1.27. At the same time, micro-moments also played a key role: TYLOO won three clutch rounds versus two for their opponents — a seemingly small detail, but one that often decides the flow of a match.
The semifinal will be a real test for TYLOO
3DMAX, who had previously eliminated paiN and Rare Atom from the tournament, hoped to keep their Cinderella run going, but this time couldn’t handle the favorites. TYLOO confidently move forward in the fight for the grand prize — $150,000 out of the total $450,000 prize pool.
In the semifinals, TYLOO will face the winner of Complexity vs SAW. While Complexity are considered the favorites, the outcome is hard to predict. One thing is certain: TYLOO will have to face a much stronger opponent in the next round — and the match promises to be even more challenging.
