Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz, one of the most prominent in-game leaders in North American CS history, is entering a new chapter of his career. The 31-year-old, who recently led Wildcard to back-to-back Major appearances, is currently exploring various options — including taking on a secondary calling role, moving into coaching, or joining a European team. According to his representatives at AFK Pros, he remains under contract with Wildcard but is open to change and willing to consider offers from other organizations.

Stanislaw is proud of Wildcard’s development under his leadership and the back-to-back Major qualifications he helped the team achieve, but he wants to open himself up to other opportunities, reads the statement from AFK Pros.

A decade of leadership at the top level

Peter Jarguz rose to prominence in 2015–2016, leading Conquest and OpTic into international relevance. Over the following years, he represented some of North America’s top teams — including Team Liquid, Complexity, NRG, and Evil Geniuses. His leadership helped these rosters secure victories at elite LAN events, reach Major playoffs, and compete with the best in the world.

His achievements include:

  • 1st place at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals
  • 1st place at ESL One: New York 2019
  • 1st place at ELEAGUE Season 2
  • 3–4th place at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019
  • 2nd place at ESL One: New York 2017 and ESG Tour Mykonos 2017

A new chapter with Wildcard and a Major comeback

Following a career lull between 2021 and 2022, stanislaw made a strong comeback in late 2023 by taking over the ambitious Wildcard roster. Not only did he build the team’s core from scratch, but he also led the squad — made up mostly of rookies — to consecutive Major qualifications at PGL Major Shanghai 2024 and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

This achievement was particularly impressive given the team’s inexperience and lack of high-level LAN exposure. Stanislaw proved that he remains a relevant and effective leader in the CS2 era — showcasing game understanding, adaptability, and the ability to shape a structured lineup from the ground up.

What’s next: New roles and new horizons

For the first time in his long-standing career, stanislaw is seriously considering shifting away from the primary IGL role. He is open to working as a secondary caller, taking on a coaching role, or making a move to Europe if the right opportunity arises. With years of experience and championship pedigree, he presents a valuable asset for both rising rosters and established organizations.

Now, for the first time, stanislaw is open to opportunities as a secondary caller, coach, or member of a European lineup, confirm his representatives.

Notably, with a P1 visa, Canadian citizenship, and EU passports, he has full flexibility to compete in both North America and Europe without travel restrictions.

Stanislaw — more than just a captain

Whatever his next step may be, one thing is certain: Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz is more than just another veteran. His name is tied to winning culture, smart strategy, and transforming unproven talent into Major-worthy lineups.

This moment represents more than just a team change — it’s a chance for him to redefine his role in professional Counter-Strike while continuing to influence the scene from a leadership position.

The off-season and transfer window open new opportunities — for both players and teams. And stanislaw remains a symbol of reliable leadership, structure, and experience at the highest level. Given his openness to fresh challenges, we may soon see him in a new lineup, a new role — or even calling the shots from behind the team.
