The NAVI organization has announced changes to its CS2 main roster: Justinas “jL” Lekavicius has been moved to the inactive list, and his place will be taken by former NAVI Junior academy player — Drin “makazze” Shaqiri. The official announcement appeared on NAVI’s X (Twitter) page.
jL’s Achievements
Justinas joined NAVI in June 2023 and in just over two years made a significant contribution to the team’s success. During this time, NAVI repeatedly reached the finals of major tournaments:
- ESL Pro League Season 18 — 2nd place
- BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 — 3–4th place
- BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 — 2nd place
- Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024 — 2nd place
- BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 — 2nd place
The team also claimed titles with jL at:
- PGL Major Copenhagen 2024
- Esports World Cup 2024
- ESL Pro League Season 20
- Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024
At the most recent Major — BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 — NAVI was eliminated in the quarterfinals after losing to Vitality. After that defeat, it became clear that the roster needed changes.
During his time with NAVI, Justinas earned over $400,000 in prize money, making him one of the team’s most financially successful players.
Recently, jL got married and decided to take a career break for approximately six months to focus on his personal life and recovery.
His overall stats with NAVI were also solid:
- Rating: 1.10
- IMPACT: 1.12
- Firepower: 74
Who is makazze
Drin “makazze” Shaqiri is a young talent from Kosovo who previously played for NAVI Junior. Although the academy roster was recently disbanded, makazze managed to prove himself as one of the most promising players in the region.
Together with NAVI Junior, he won several trophies:
- YaLLa Compass Qatar 2025
- Thunderpick World Championship 2025: European Series #1
- ESL Challenger League Season 49: Europe
- CCT Season 3 European Series #3
His individual statistics over the last 3 months are impressive:
- Rating: 1.24
- IMPACT: 1.44
- ADR: 87.1
- KAST: 74.8
These numbers reflect an aggressive playstyle, consistent round impact, and the ability to maintain a high level against strong opponents. His integration into NAVI’s main roster will be a real test — but also a chance to unlock his full potential at the top level.
Current NAVI CS2 roster:
- Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy
- Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen
- Mihai “iM” Ivan

Community reaction
The news of the roster change sparked a wide reaction in the community. Most fans expressed gratitude to jL for his impact while also understanding the need for adjustments.
User RhinoStarus wrote:
“Incredibly sad but understandable to see jL taking a break. He was an INSANELY big part of the Major championship. Maybe we get more changes too coming soon, who knows…”
The team HEROIC responded briefly but emotionally:
“NOOOOOO”
Despite the emotional fan response, there have been no official comments yet from the other NAVI players. The community is now waiting for makazze’s first matches in the main team to evaluate how effective this change will be.
A new chapter now begins for the updated NAVI roster — full of challenges, expectations, and hopes for stability. Whether makazze can establish himself among the stars and become a new driving force of the team will be revealed in the coming tournament cycle. As for jL, he steps away from the scene having left a mark as one of the key architects of NAVI’s championship run in 2024.
