Ukrainian esports organization Monte has officially presented its updated CS2 roster, adding three new players to the lineup. The announcement was made via the team’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. Aurélien “afro” Drapier, Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras, and Oscar “AZUWU” Bell have officially joined the squad.
Monte finalize their lineup
Monte have completed their roster after several months of changes and trials. French AWPer afro, formerly of LDLC, HEET, and Into the Breach, is now set to become the team’s primary sniper. Bymas — a familiar name to MOUZ fans — returns to competitive play following a break and attempts to reignite his career. AZUWU, a young British talent, made a name for himself with strong individual performances at the Tier-2 level, especially during his time with Into the Breach.
The updated Monte roster now looks as follows:

With this lineup, Monte have committed to a European mix that blends experience, firepower, and youthful potential.
A new chapter begins
Monte continue to rebuild after the breakup of their previous roster — the lineup that brought them into the spotlight during the 2023 Major. The new team looks ambitious: afro brings consistency with the AWP, Bymas has top-tier experience, and AZUWU could emerge as one of the breakout stars of the season.
The key challenge will be building chemistry and structure around Gizmy. If the coaching staff finds the right balance and each player performs to their potential, Monte could soon return to contention for top-tier tournament spots. Their early matches will be telling — but on paper, this is one of the most intriguing Tier-2 roster moves in recent months.
