maden, who has been on the bench of Falcons for quite some time, announced that his contract with the organization is coming to an end. The Montenegrin player shared the news on his X account, adding that he will soon become a free agent and is open to offers from new teams.

maden’s Journey

maden joined Falcons at the end of 2023. At the time, the team had yet to achieve notable results on the professional scene and mostly competed in tier-2 tournaments. However, by the end of 2024, maden, along with snappi and dupreeh, was benched as the organization evaluated whether to extend s1mple’s loan. Since then, maden hasn’t played for Falcons again, and following the arrival of m0NESY and NiKo—who led the team to strong performances—it became clear that a return to the starting lineup was unlikely.

While benched, maden stepped in as a stand-in for teams like HEROIC and Partizan Esports. His stats over the past three months are:

  • Rating — 1.13
  • DPR — 0.70
  • IMPACT — 1.17
  • KAST — 74.6%

While not exceptional, these numbers reflect his consistency and reliable form.

Reactions from the Scene

maden’s announcement about his upcoming free agency caught the attention of several figures in the CS2 community, including former teammates and industry insiders.

dupreeh, who is also on Falcons’ bench, responded with:

“Lol you too??!”

Ben Pham, Vice President of Partizan Esports, simply tagged his organization in the reply—suggesting potential interest in bringing maden onto the roster full-time.

CS2 coach and analyst Devilwalk added:

“Miss watching this guy play :/”

Polish player dycha, currently benched in Monte, reacted with:

“good info”

maden’s Future

Despite the extended time away from tier-1 competition, maden remains an experienced and motivated player. His steady performances and versatility could be attractive to teams in search of a solid, smart rifler.

Potential destinations might include teams like OG or Into the Breach, both of which are reportedly restructuring their rosters. A return to Partizan Esports on a permanent basis is also a strong possibility after their recent cooperation.

Wherever he ends up, one thing is certain: maden is far from done in professional CS.
