MOUZ vs Virtus.pro 11:13 (Mirage)
In a tense match, the first half went to the Russians 7:5. MOUZ responded in the second half, stringing together seven rounds to take an 11:10 lead, but Virtus.pro closed it out by taking the final three crucial rounds.

Spirit vs paiN 13:3 (Dust2)
No second upset for paiN. Spirit had no trouble shutting down the Brazilians in their BO1 opener, securing a 1-0 start — while fellow title contender Vitality dropped to the 0-1 bracket.

3DMAX vs G2 13:5 (Nuke)
It was a comfortable game for the French side. 3DMAX didn’t give up a single round on CT-side in the second half and easily locked in their 1-0 record.

FaZe vs Aurora 5:13 (Anubis)
For s1mple and his squad, the stage began with a defeat. After losing the first half 2:10, they struggled to get back into the game, and Aurora closed it out decisively.

FURIA vs The MongolZ 13:11 (Inferno)
Despite being considered one of the tournament favorites, The MongolZ dropped their opener to FURIA. molodoy and YEKINDAR played a key role in the win, helping their team secure a 1-0 record.

NAVI vs Nemiga 13:7 (Train)
The Ukrainian squad had little trouble on Train, taking a dominant 9:3 lead in the first half and closing out the game without issue in the second.

Liquid vs Lynn Vision 5:13 (Dust2)
China’s CS2 scene continues to surprise. Lynn Vision took control early with a 9:3 first half and quickly closed out the second half, winning 13:5.

Second Wave (Round 2) — First 2–0s and 0–2s
Legacy vs Virtus.pro 11:13 (Ancient)
A tense match where Legacy failed to capitalize on two crucial force-buy rounds. Virtus.pro edged them out 13:11. Despite the loss, the Brazilians remain in the 1-1 pool.

Aurora vs FURIA 7:13 (Dust2)
In their second game, FURIA faced Aurora and secured another solid win. With a 2-0 record, the Brazilians are now just one win away from the playoffs.

3DMAX vs NAVI 14:16 (Inferno)
A tough and scrappy game for NAVI, who came back from an 8:12 deficit. A clutch by w0nderful sent the game to overtime, where NAVI managed to close it out and move to 2-0.

Spirit vs Lynn Vision 13:7 (Dust2)
Lynn Vision faced a much tougher opponent in their second match. Spirit stayed in control and secured the win, placing themselves one step away from the playoffs.

MOUZ vs FaZe 10:13 (Ancient)
In their second match, s1mple and FaZe improved their record with a win over MOUZ. It wasn’t an easy game, but a key clutch by rain gave FaZe the edge and confidence to take the win.

Vitality vs Nemiga 13:6 (Dust2)
Vitality managed to bounce back after a rough start. In their match against Nemiga, they played aggressively, won key duels, and showed that their opening loss won’t stop them from pushing forward.

The MongolZ vs Liquid 13:7 (Ancient)
Another team beginning their recovery is The MongolZ. They equalized their record to 1-1 with a solid win over Liquid, staying in control throughout, while Liquid now face elimination.

G2 vs paiN 13:6 (Dust2)
G2 started strong with a 9:3 lead in the first half. paiN looked weak on T-side, and in a key round, G2 managed to win with just two salvaged rifles — a decisive moment that sent paiN to 0-2.
