The match between Complexity and BLUEJAYS at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 North America Closed Qualifier ended with a 2:0 victory for Complexity. This win secured the team a spot at the Major, which will take place from June 9 to 22 in the USA.
How the Match Unfolded
Map 1: Ancient (16:12)

BLUEJAYS started the match aggressively and confidently. They won the first half with a 7:5 score, showing solid defensive coordination, notably, CacaNito consistently pressured mid, keeping Complexity under constant threat. However, after the side switch, Complexity stepped up significantly. They secured 11 rounds in the second half, thanks to strong discipline, better tempo control, and sharp shooting from Hallzerk, who played a key role in the comeback.
Two retakes on the A site were especially crucial, where Grim and JT managed to clutch in outnumbered situations, ultimately shifting the momentum in Complexity’s favor.

Map 2: Train (13:7)

Train, which was recently added back into the map pool in place of Vertigo, became the stage for complete domination by Complexity. Initially, the teams went back and forth — the score reached 6:5, but then the Americans won seven rounds in a row, shutting down any attempts from BLUEJAYS to establish control over key areas.
Hallzerk once again stood out, repeatedly denying B-site pushes with his AWP. JT showcased excellent in-game leadership, reading the opponent’s game well and allowing Complexity to adapt and outplay BLUEJAYS strategically.
