FISSURE Playground 1: The First Major LAN After The Break

16 elite teams are set to come together in Belgrade, Serbia, for FISSURE Playground 1, an event featuring a total prize pool of $1,000,000, with $150,000 for the winner. Taking place from July 15-20, this will be the first notable LAN tournament after the summer break, bringing fresh excitement to the Counter-Strike scene.

Group Stage

Teams: 16 teams split into four groups of four
Structure: GSL-style double elimination brackets
Match Format: Best-of-three (BO3)
Advancement: Top two teams from each group move to playoffs

Playoffs

Structure: Single-elimination bracket
Match Format: Best-of-three (BO3)
Grand Final: Best-of-five (BO5)

What To Expect

Despite the absence of some of the biggest names, such as Vitality, Falcons, Spirit, and FaZe – all skipping to prepare for IEM Cologne the following week – the tournament promises high stakes and intense competition.
