The upcoming final match of ESL Pro League Season 21 is going to be truly entertaining! MOUZ managed to limit donk’s impact and defeat Spirit in the semifinals, while Vitality is on a 10-match win streak, having lost only three maps during that run.

My vote here goes to Vitality. I believe that MOUZ will need to show 100% of their capabilities to challenge the French powerhouse at the moment. My exact prediction: 3-1 for Vitality.

Best-of-5 Format

When it comes to the map pool, the current iteration of MOUZ appears to have more issues than Vitality. Both rosters are relatively new, with just one replacement each, but it’s important to note that Vitality and MOUZ are built differently.

MOUZ relied more on structure in their previous iteration with siuhy, meaning that role changes and a new in-game leader have forced them to take more time than Vitality to adjust their playstyle.

Vitality

Vitality, on the other hand, plays a much looser style that allows for more individual freedom. With the addition of ropz, an ultra-experienced player, they adapted quickly. It’s also worth noting that ropz has already played in a similar system alongside karrigan.

The Honeymoon Battle

It’s great to see two teams that made roster changes in the offseason reaching the grand final of EPL! Both teams look fresh and motivated. However, ropz’s move to Vitality seems like a bigger upgrade than Spinx’s arrival in MOUZ’s camp when considering the overall situation.

The key difference is that, despite both teams enjoying a honeymoon period, I think MOUZ is still in a transitional phase. I don’t see this roster as a finalized version. After MOUZ’s chaotic winter offseason, it feels like changes could still be in the air, and that uncertainty is noticeable.

Vitality

Vitality’s Individual Sharpness

The main difference between MOUZ and Vitality, in my opinion, is raw firepower. On an average day, Vitality would outperform MOUZ in terms of aim. Considering that Vitality’s individual form is currently well above average, I have no doubt that they will take the trophy tonight.
