The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is gaining momentum. All eyes of the esports world were on the final day of Stage 1, as it was here that the last three teams earned their place in the next phase of the tournament. After intense do-or-die matches at a 2:2 scoreline, TyLoo, Legacy, and Lynn Vision clinched their spots in the next stage.

Elimination Matches: One Last Chance to Advance

TyLoo 2:1 FlyQuest

In a dramatic showdown, the Asian powerhouse TyLoo managed to overcome Australia’s FlyQuest. The match opened with a win for FlyQuest on Inferno (13:10). But TyLoo bounced back fiercely on Mirage, completely dismantling their opponent’s defense with a 13:3 win. They followed up with another dominant performance on Anubis, closing out the series with the same score, 13:3. TyLoo advance with a 3-2 record.

Legacy 2:0 Wildcard

Legacy and Wildcard clashed on two maps: Inferno and Nuke — both ending in favor of Legacy. The first map, Inferno, ended 13:10, and Legacy sealed the deal on Nuke with a solid 13:6 victory. Legacy have exceeded all expectations at this Major, while Wildcard, who started the stage 1-0, have now been eliminated from the competition.

Lynn Vision 2:0 NRG

The day kicked off with a thriller between Lynn Vision and NRG. Their first map, Dust2, was a back-and-forth battle with no clear leader, eventually heading into overtime where Lynn Vision edged out a 22:20 victory. The second map, Inferno, was less intense — Lynn Vision closed it 13:8 to secure the series. Lynn Vision join TyLoo as one of two Chinese teams advancing to the next stage.
