The Chinese squad TYLOO pulled off a heroic 2-0 victory (16:14 on Nuke, 13:10 on Inferno) against Portuguese side SAW in a tense semifinal of FISSURE Playground 1 in Belgrade. The match became a true test of endurance, timing, and mental fortitude — and in each of those categories, TYLOO proved superior.

Teams’ Road to the Playoffs

TYLOO kicked off the tournament with a confident 2-0 win over Virtus.Pro, followed by a thrilling 2-1 victory against Astralis in the group stage, securing the top spot in Group C. In the quarterfinals, the Chinese team dismantled 3DMAX 2-0, further cementing their position as one of the tournament favorites.

SAW, on the other hand, advanced from Group A after defeating FURIA in their opening match (2:0). Despite a loss to GamerLegion (0:2), they recovered in the lower bracket with a second win over FURIA (2:1), and later eliminated Complexity in a close 2-1 quarterfinal to reach the semis.

Map 1 — Nuke (16:14)

SAW started strong on the T side of Nuke, securing seven rounds in the first half despite heavy pressure from JamYoung and Jee. TYLOO’s CT side was composed and adaptive, closing the gap and forcing the game into crucial late-rounds, where their clutch ability turned the tide.

JamYoung was the standout performer, delivering 32 kills with a 98.6 ADR, nine multi-kills, five clutch kills, and a 1.55 rating. His precise play during retakes and bombsite holds was decisive. SAW won two out of four clutches, and story recorded six opening kills, but it wasn’t enough — JamYoung stepped up again in the dying moments to seal the map 16:14 for TYLOO.

Map 2 — Inferno (13:10)

SAW again demonstrated their fighting spirit, with the first half ending in a 6:6 tie. Ag1l stood tall with numerous highlight plays anchoring key bombsites. However, the second half revealed a gap in strategic depth — TYLOO capitalized on errors, won crucial B retakes, and claimed key economy rounds.

JamYoung once again led the charge with 21 kills, a 99.2 ADR, and a 1.45 rating. Mercury added solid support with a 1.28 rating, while Jee landed six AWP kills, locking down mid and short angles effectively. SAW struggled to convert their 5v4 advantages in two pivotal rounds. TYLOO, in contrast, won a critical 1v1 clutch by Jee to close out the map 13:10.

SAW — A Team That Didn’t Go Down Without a Fight

Despite the defeat, SAW played a respectable match. Their aggression on Nuke earned them seven T rounds, and Ag1l looked like a true leader on Inferno with a 1.24 rating, winning opening duels and anchoring the defense. story was active with the AWP, while MUTiRiS and aragornN provided firepower during site hits.

In the end, SAW couldn’t clutch out key moments — winning only 3 of 8 clutch rounds. That proved to be the defining factor that kept them from forcing a third map. Any team would have struggled against JamYoung in this form — SAW gave it their all, but on this day, TYLOO were simply better.

Player of the Match — Yi “JamYoung” Yang

JamYoung delivered one of the strongest performances of the tournament — 53-30 K-D across the series, 98.9 ADR, and a 1.50 overall rating. His precision, consistency, and aggression were vital to TYLOO’s win. He dominated long duels, held mid control, and won positional clutches with ease.

Players’ Match Statistics

TYLOO have shown they’re ready to go toe-to-toe with any opponent. With individual stars like JamYoung and Jee complementing disciplined teamplay, their semifinal win over SAW wasn’t just a step to the final — it was a statement of their new level on the international stage.
In the grand final, TYLOO will face Astralis or BetBoom. And if current form is anything to go by, we’re in for an epic showdown.
