In the final Group D match at FISSURE Playground 1, BetBoom claimed a crucial 2:1 victory over BIG, securing their spot in the playoff stage.
From comeback to domination: BetBoom edge past BIG and move on
The series kicked off on Mirage, BetBoom’s map pick. Although the CIS squad was expected to be confident on the map, it was the Germans who took control early on. BIG played with discipline, won key clutches, and looked solid on defense. Despite BetBoom’s efforts to force overtime, they couldn’t close it out — 13:16.
Things turned around completely on Dust2. BetBoom looked much more comfortable, executing clean attacks and holding their ground on defense. They quickly overwhelmed their opponents and evened the series with a confident 13:7 win.
The decider on Nuke proved to be a real test for both sides. The first half ended in a 6:6 tie, but after the sides switched, BIG had no answers against BetBoom’s rock-solid defense. The CIS team didn’t drop a single round in the second half, closing the map with a dominant 13:6 scoreline.
