After an unstable first half of 2025, Brazilian organization Fluxo has decided to revamp its CS2 lineup by signing two new players — Lucas “Lucaozy” Neves and Lucas “decenty” Bacelar. Both players are well-known within the South American scene, bring LAN experience, and have gone through challenging yet formative stages in their careers. They replace Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola and Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa, who have been moved to the bench.

Fluxo entered 2025 with high hopes, but the reality was harsh — the team often found itself overshadowed by regional rivals. While they secured wins at ESL Challenger League Season 49 and a CCT tournament, their bigger goals remained out of reach. Their campaign at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 proved symbolic: Fluxo qualified and gave several young players their Major debuts, but were eliminated in Stage 1 with a 0-3 record, including a loss to Chinggis Warriors.
Team leader Andrei “arT” Piovezan spoke after the Major about the need to mentor younger players: “They’re like players in diapers — they need guidance.” That sentiment seems to have driven the team’s shift in direction.
Lucaozy returns: a second chance to prove himself
Lucaozy previously enjoyed a strong stint with Fluxo during 2023–2024, acting as one of the team’s key riflers and averaging a solid 1.20 rating. In summer 2024, he moved to MIBR, where he struggled with role clashes — particularly with Felipe “insani” Yuji — and couldn’t find his footing. His rating dropped to 0.95, and following the Austin Major, Lucaozy chose to bench himself.
Coming back to Fluxo means something special to me. This is where I lived through the best moments of my career. Now I return more mature, with more experience, and a bigger hunger to win, he said during a livestream.
He is expected to return to his previous comfort zone as a second entry or trade rifler — roles where he performed best and can potentially rediscover his form.
decenty: stability and site control
Lucas “decenty” Bacelar joins Fluxo after nearly two years with Imperial. His departure was reportedly due to in-game conflicts, particularly with Santino “try” Rigal. Despite the internal issues, decenty left Imperial with a respectable 1.12 average rating and a reputation as a solid, clutch anchor player.
This signing appears to be Fluxo’s attempt to bolster positional strength, especially on maps like Overpass and Nuke, where reliable site anchors are critical. Additionally, decenty brings versatility — capable of playing lurk roles or supporting the IGL.
Community Reaction: from hype to heavy doubt
The roster move immediately sparked mixed reactions in the Brazilian community. Twitter quickly lit up with everything from praise to sharp skepticism:
- @decentycs simply tweeted “VAPO”, Brazilian slang indicating dominance or decisive action.
- @fluxogg replied with a shrug emoji — a light-hearted nod to the potential risks involved.
- @Victor7z1k mocked the move: “Poor guys, just going to embarrass themselves again at the Major. Should’ve gone to MIBR.”
- @manoelavazz23 was more optimistic: “This team has everything to work out.”
- @Er1ck_Silva criticized decenty harshly: “He just ended his career, pqp.”
- @outilord added: “Screenshot this — it’s the thousandth version of Fluxo, and like the others, it’ll lead nowhere.”
- @Jalimrabeifx joked about the team’s use of an awkward photo of decenty: “Poor guy, they picked the worst possible picture, lol.”
Still, there were voices of support. @Fxlucas9rs posted two purple hearts — the color of Fluxo and a symbol of renewed hope.
A new structure: what Fluxo looks like now
The revamped Fluxo lineup looks more balanced and mature. arT will no longer carry the entire burden of leadership — with Lucaozy and decenty onboard, the team gains veteran presence to build around younger talents zevy and kye.
New Fluxo CS2 lineup:
- Romeu “zevy” Rocco – main AWPer
- Andrei “arT” Piovezan – IGL / entry
- Kayke “kye” Bertolucci – flex / second support
- Lucas “Lucaozy” Neves – rifler / trader
- Lucas “decenty” Bacelar – anchor / support
- Marcos “tacitus” Castilho – coach
Bench:
- Matheus “mlhzin” Marçola
- Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa
First test incoming
The new-look Fluxo will debut this Saturday in the playoffs of the Thunderpick World Championship SA Series 2. It will be the first opportunity to see how quickly the team can integrate its two new additions — and whether arT can elevate them into a true contender.
In a region heating up with talent from paiN, FURIA, MIBR, and Imperial, Fluxo doesn’t have much time to adapt. But with this roster, they finally seem poised not just to compete — but to win.
