There is no icon with the model and skin of the knife, there is just a separate icon, the name of which reads “Special Rare Item”. It is also worth considering that not all cases can contain knives, and therefore we advise you to familiarize yourself with the contents of the case before buying, if your main goal is a knife, you can only get them in weapon boxes.

Types of knives in CS:GO

Knives in CS:GO come in a wide variety, and their variety does not end with just a change of color, there are also enough models, and the character in the game moves each knife model differently. To inspect the knife, press the “F” key, in order to loop the display of the knife, quickly press the “R” and “F” keys alternately.

Knife Karambit

This knife is made in a rather unusual shape, there is a handle on which small indentations for the fingers are specially made, there is a hole at the end of the handle, and after the handle, there is a blade. The knife itself is made in the form of a crescent.

The player, inspecting the knife, will twist it by the hole at the end of the handle, both vertically and horizontally. Special moves have also been worked out for killing from the back of this knife.

Karambit is one of the most expensive knives, and therefore even the most unattractive skins are not cheap. The most expensive is Karambit: Gradient, from $800, and the cheapest is karambit: African mesh, from $200.

Knife Falchion

The handle has a notch for the index finger for convenience and also wraps up a little at the end, the blade is short and removable.

Taking out the knife, the player will attach the blade to the handle. By pressing the “F” key, it will begin to twist it, sometimes it will toss the knife after scrolling, after which it will be examined by holding it with just the index and thumb, which gives elegance to this knife. There is also a rare knife animation where the player holds it on one finger at the end of the handle.

This knife belongs to a number of cheap knives. The most expensive – Falchion: Marble gradient, from $266, and the cheapest – Falchion: African mesh, from $78.

Gut Knife

This knife looks a bit like a regular kitchen knife. A wooden handle is superimposed on both sides of a handle that extends straight from the blade. The blade itself at the end has a hook in the opposite direction.

The animation on this knife is rather poor. When taking out a knife, the player will scroll it in his hand, when you press the “F” key, he will simply begin to examine it.

In terms of price, this knife is the cheapest model. The cheapest knife is a Knife with a hook blade: African mesh, from $79, the most expensive knife is a Knife with a hook blade: Marble gradient, from $162.

M9 bayonet

The M9 bayonet has a closer look at the standard knife model in CS:GO. Straight rubber handle so that the knife does not slip out of your hands, a loop between the blade and the handle, and a straight blade with teeth on the back.

The player takes out a knife with very effective scrolling, though then when considering some special actions with it, he does not perform it, but simply turns it.

Butterfly Knife

The butterfly knife is made in an unusual design since the handles are not actually two that diverge. This knife can be folded by removing the blade between the two handles. The handles are straight with a slight bend, the blade is about the same.

The presented knife has well-designed animations that you want to repeat over and over again with the combination of the “R” and “F” keys. The player rotates the knife by one of the handles, you can throw it into the air, and perform various tricks with it.

Butterfly knife also refers to expensive knives, the most unattractive models cost quite a lot. The cheapest is Butterfly Knife: African mesh, from $184, and the most expensive is Butterfly Knife: marble gradient, from $940.

Bayonet

This knife is an offshoot of the older brother and has minor changes in the form of the absence of teeth on the back of the blade. But at the same time, the blade itself is slightly more elongated than that of the Bayonet M9.

Since this knife is very similar to the M9 Bayonet, it is not difficult to guess that they will also be very similar in animation, or rather, their animations will generally be the same. Alas, here the authors of the knife model did not please us with some separate animation.
